Starting Chain
Chain a multiple of 6 - 1.
Start in the 7th chain from hook and place 1 dc.
Row 1
Work 1 dc, ch 1, skip 1 — repeat across.
End with 1 dc in the last ch.
Ch 1 (counts as a sc), turn.
Row 2
Work a sc into each st across.
Ch 4, turn.
Row 3
Dc in the first sc.
Ch 2, skip 2, sc in next, ch 2, skip 2, (dc, ch 2, dc) in the same st — repeat across.
End with (dc, ch 1, dc) in the last st.
Ch 3, turn.
Row 4
In the ch-1 space between last dc pair, work:
- 2-double cluster: (yo, insert hook, draw up loop, yo, pull through 2) × 2, yo, pull through all 3 loops, ch 1.
- 3-double cluster: (yo, insert hook, draw up loop, yo, pull through 2) × 3, yo, pull through all 4 loops, ch 1.
Into each ch-2 space between dc pairs, work: (3-double cluster, ch 1) × 3 — repeat across.
In the last ch space, end with (2-double cluster, ch 1, 2-double cluster).
Ch 4, turn.
Row 5
Skip 2 sts
Work 1 dc, ch 1, skip 1 — repeat across.
End with 1 dc in the last st.
Ch 1 (counts as a sc), turn.
Pattern Repeat
Repeat Rows 2 to 5 for desired length.
